Arizona State University was forever changed on April 26, 1976, when the Mu Eta Chapter became the 448th chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Mu Eta Chapter was founded by Brother Gerald Richard II, who was initially made on August 20, 1974 at the University of Arizona, Zeta Theta Chapter.
